Luxor Completes First SOC 1 Examination and Maintains SOC 2 Compliance

This milestone, combined with Luxor's continued SOC 2 compliance (examination completed January 5, 2026), demonstrates the company's commitment to the highest standards of security and operational integrity.
SOC 1: A New Milestone for Luxor
Established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 1 examination is designed for service organizations that provide services affecting their clients' financial reporting processes. The examination validates that Luxor's controls relevant to user entities' internal control over financial reporting have been formally reviewed and are operating effectively.
The SOC 1 report covers processing of user entity transactions within the Luxor Platform System, providing assurance to clients and their auditors that Luxor maintains the controls necessary to support accurate financial reporting.
Continued SOC 2 Compliance
Luxor also completed its annual SOC 2 examination, covering the security and availability criteria for Luxor Platform Mining Pool and Firmware. This marks Luxor's continued commitment to the SOC 2 standards first achieved in December 2022, when the company became the first Bitcoin mining pool to complete a SOC 2 Type 2 audit.
SOC 2 reports are recognized globally and affirm that a company's infrastructure, software, people, data, policies, procedures, and operations have been formally reviewed. Together, the SOC 1 and SOC 2 certifications confirm Luxor's dedication to protecting and processing customer data with the highest standards of reliability and availability.
